Southwest Airlines has committed to serve Branson, Missouri according to a Southwest Airlines press release issued today. Southwest Airlines has made the decision to serve Branson, Missouri and to convert AirTran Airways at Branson to Southwest Airlines operations over time.

At 7:00pm on Monday, February 6, Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre will be sizzling with Branson's 18th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show! The Hot Winter Fun Big Show provides the audience an opportunity to see portions of several shows that are open during the winter months of January, February and March. The Big Show will be emceed by popular Branson entertainer, Bob Leftridge of the Baldknobbers Jamboree. Shows on stage include Legends In Concert, "it" from the Hughes Brothers Theatre, Baldknobbers Jamboree, Grand Jubilee, Clay Cooper, Take It To The Limit - Eagles Tribute, A Tribute To Marty Robins, Hank Williams Revisited, and more.

39,000 Pounds of Solid Ice on a Collision Course with Titanic Museum Attraction
Thirty of the U.S. National Ice Carving Association’s champion Ice Carvers are coming to Branson to blast, drill and torch three-hundred pound chunks of ice into amazing works of art starting at 9 a.m. Saturday , Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at the Titanic Museum Attraction’s outdoor staging center, announces Titanic owner, John Joslyn.

Christmas On The Trail To Air On Ozarks Public Television
Ozarks Public Television will be broadcasting the Yeller Dog production, “Christmas On The Trail,” during their upcoming pledge drive. The cowboy-themed Christmas special will air on both OPT affiliates, KOZK, based in Springfield, Missouri, and KOZJ, based in Joplin, Missouri, and this year’s multiple broadcasts in the pledge drive rotation follows on the heels of last year’s broadcast of a one-hour condensed sample of the overall production.
